I purchased this so I would not have to bend over to load the drier. I am so happy I did and I also received a bonus of having additional storage space as there is a drawer built into the pedestal.

Im not one to buy accessories such as this but it does make it easier to load and unload laundry. It was really easy to install quick and is sturdy. Originally got it for a household member with back problems and they find it a lot easier to do laundry now.

Bought this with my new washer and dryer and after the installation was finished I found out that you CANNOT store your normal sized laundry detergents...
The internal dimensions on the lip of the pedestal its-self stops the drawer from being able to close with laundry detergents in the drawer
Are you KIDDING me LG? Who designed these things??
I am literally going to have to take an angle grinder to the lip to make room for normal sized laundry detergent to be stored SO FRUSTRATED

Our old washer died on Christmas Eve so we asked Santa for a new one. It just got delivered and installed right before our dog peed all over his blanket. Threw that puppy the blanket into the washer and it was clean in no time

pedestal height is too low for any US detergent

When LG created this pedestal they didnt take into account the height of most US detergent bottles. Its slightly shorter than the height of most bottles so youre either forced to put soap in there laying down or transferring it to another bottle before using it

A great addition to my LG dryer. Makes it easy to empty and load as it raises the dryer to a more comfortable level. Only great disappointment is if it was just I believe an inch higher it would hold 100 oz. detergent bottles upright rather than having to lay them down for the cap hits the top of the pedestal not allowing the drawer to close. It holds the smaller bottles upright. Would of given it five stars under features if the bigger bottles would stay upright.

The pedestal was exactly what I expected. My disappointment lies with the late delivery and the lack of empathy with the management. If their managers were even remotely empathetic instead of trying to justify why their warehouse cannot meet deadlines I would have understood I would have given a better rating.

Its an expensive metal box but now my wife doesnt have to bend down to put her wet clean clothes in the dryer. I have a feeling once I open the drawer I will find all the socks I have lost from previous dryers magically appear here. I wont hold my breath.

I purchased four of these We have two sets of LG washers dryers and the pedestals are great for saving my back. The height it gives my units is perfect. They are very stable and strong while the machines are running and the drawers slide easily for quick access.

Bought the pedestal for a dryer and it has worked out perfectly. The only problem I had with the product when I took it out of the box it was shipped in there was a dent right in the front of the drawer. Little disappointed that a brand-new drawer has a dent but it did not affect how the drawer works.

We purchased a new LG washer and dryer combo with bottom drawer unit replacing our fifteen year old LG unit. The drawer unit raises the washer or dryer higher allowing easier access for loading or removing clothes saves the back too. Unfortunately buying directly from LG may have been a mistake. A few weeks after purchasing the units LG lowered the price by $400.00. LG would not offer a price match as other retail stores do for the LG brand. Plus the washer arrived dented and the LG support department said I had to purchase a replacement washer before they would exchange the dented washer.

Having both my LG washer and dryer on pedestals makes it much easier on my 75 year old body to load the washer transfer washed items to the dryer and retrieve dry laundry. I can open the drawers and set my laundry basket inside just below the door. It just makes the work easier to get done.

Given the LG dryer design you have to have the pedestal. All it does is lift up the washer and its ridiculously expensive to buy and to install. Plus the lip of the pedestal that opens a drawer for storage just collects dust every time you pull out the lint trap. The storage is not that useful as its so low to the ground but at least they offer it.

Got the idea from the mother in-law and when we finally got a house of our own we followed suite. The extra storage is nice but also having the washer and dyer combo a bit higher helps from having to lean down as much.

I bought these for my new home and am very pleased with their look and performance. I only wish they were a tad bit taller so that cleaning spray bottles could stand upright in the drawers. The drawers glide beautifully though and Ill likely use them for my Bounce cleaning rags etc.

I bought this after buying the LG washer. The salesperson said that the washer would fit on my Whirlpool pedestal. It wouldnt so I had to make a last minute call to Lowes where I got the LG washer. The salesperson different one and the manager worked to allow me to get the pedestal ordered over the phone and delivered with the washer.

Our new LG front load washer and dryer were great but had one drawback: because they were so deep bending down and retrieving clothing from the back of the machine was a real pain. Adding pedestals to both brought them up to a height where emptying and loading and transferring from one machine to the other was a lot easier on the back

Bought a new washer and dryer. They are deeper than the old ones and harder to reach down in to get clothes out. So after the fact we had the company come back and install the pedestals. Great addition It makes unloading clothes and moving them from washer to dryer so much easier. Also having the drawers in the bottom for storing things is very helpful.

This is a good pedestal for the LG Washer and Dryer with one important exception. The pullout drawer does not have a removable shelf across the top of the drawer that can be used for resting a laundry basket like the pedestal for my old competitor washer / dryer had. Very disappointed and thus the two-star rating.
